SAP-Certified Accelerator Extension for SAP Hybris Commerce Drives Time to Value for Dynamic Media and User-Generated Content Implementations

Global ecommerce consultancy Salmon helps Amplience, the Big Content Cloud, build its SAP-certified extension for the SAP® Hybris® Commerce solution, designed to accelerate time to value for Amplience Dynamic Media and User-Generated Content (UGC) implementations. This new extension, which is featured in the Hybris Extend Marketplace, streamlines the implementation of digital content for Amplience customers who utilize SAP Hybris Commerce for a simple installation and configuration process, reducing risk and cost.

For brands to engage with sophisticated multi-device consumers, they need to deliver engaging shopping experiences that feature high-fidelity images, videos and socially curated content. By leveraging rich media and UGC, brands interact directly with their customers to ultimately grow sales and increase loyalty.

The Amplience Dynamic Media solution makes it easy for ecommerce and marketing teams using SAP Hybris Commerce to enrich the customer experience with engaging product and promotional images and videos that work responsively in any channel and device combination – improving load performance and quality.

In addition, Amplience’s Social / UGC solution gives creative teams the ability to integrate high-value customer images into the customer journey. The UGC widget then allows editors to enrich with product data, to create shoppable UGC galleries that enable consumers to go directly to basket from the content – driving conversion and average order values.

The extension was built in conjunction with ecommerce system integrator and SAP Hybris Commerce specialist Neoworks, a division of Salmon.

Joe Robinson, Head of Commercial Partnerships at Salmon said: “We’re really pleased to have collaborated with Amplience on the SAP-certified extension for SAP Hybris Commerce, which we expect will accelerate the build of new projects. Neoworks is one of the longest-standing and most technically adept SAP Hybris partners in the world, and we have been integrating Amplience into our customers’ online experience for many years now. The extension demonstrates the commitment by all parties to provide the best digital commerce solution for clients.”

“Amplience understands the challenges that come with content and commerce integrations and product media and content management,” said James Brooke, CEO, Amplience. “We’re dedicated to helping our customers improve all aspects of their customer experience to drive sales, improve agility and reduce costs. Our new SAP-certified extension is designed to reduce implementation risk and cost, and provides creative and site operations teams with the Dynamic Media and UGC creation tools they need to take control of content production and delivery.”
