Black Friday Roundup - The results from our peak operations centre highlighted that Black Friday itself was the busiest day of the week, with mobile conquering as the device of choice for consumers. IMRG back this up with their stats reporting that 39% of UK online retail sales were completed on a smartphone, with the device taking the highest share of sales against desktop and tablet. IMRG also confirmed the amount spent on UK online retail sites on Black Friday 2017 was up 11.7% to £1.39bn, ahead of their original forecast of +9% growth for the day.
