Protein World, one of the UK's largest suppliers of premium health and fitness supplements appointed Salmon in 2017, to support and grow its digital business within the health and fitness space.

Brought on board to optimise Protein World's website and mobile platforms, Salmon was tasked with creating a smoother customer journey for visitors, ensuring their existing Magento ecommerce platform is performant and stable, as well as determining areas which need to be optimised to support digital growth. Salmon will further look to improve the website by upgrading and enhancing the site to help increase sales and drive innovation as the company looks to expand its presence worldwide.

Current priorities include an increased focus on on-site personalisation features, subscription plans, complex promotions, an improved checkout process as well as a new, redesigned desktop and mobile site in the first half of 2018.

Although Protein World products are available in a range of shops internationally, a large margin of our sales come from our website. Therefore, we want to ensure that our digital offering is as good as it can be. It is so important to have a strong digital foundation for both our customers’ shopping experience, and to allow the business to grow. We’re excited to be working with Salmon to optimise our website to make it the best it can be.
