Salmon win B2B Campaign of the Year award
On Tuesday 7th November 2017 Salmon and Harvard our PR Agency won the prestigious B2B Award at the PRCA International Awards in London. The awards celebrate the best of the best of the UK PR and communications industry.
The Award was in recognition for our Black Friday Campaign, designed to reach prospects and customers and demonstrate Salmon’s expertise as the go-to voice on the topic, as well as positioning Salmon as thought leaders in the space, raising our media profile and Salmon’s managed services offering.
Blowing our own trumpet isn’t something us Salmons are great at, but I can safely say, as a team, we are all “Confidently Proud”. And it’s not just the marketing and PR team who won this award. We couldn’t have won it without the hard work of the managed services team and the analytics team. They are the people making sure our client's operations are performant and ready to cope with the increased load-related issues though peak and provided us with the data and content to put together an award-winning campaign.
We won because of the significant splash we made in the media with our press release and media alerts resulting in over 145 pieces of media coverage, 12 national pieces and a broadcast interview with CNBC. We also generated 1,500+ visits to the landing page and 268 new LinkedIn followers who were downloading our great collateral, including our Black Friday Playbook and Black Friday Whitepaper.
