Good Friday to become the new Black Friday

Patrick Munden, Global Head of Retail and Marketing at Salmon, spoke to The Telegraph about some of the reasons why Easter will see an expected rise in sales, and why Salmon is predicting £100 million will be spent online over the four day period.

“We have seen a growing trend towards event-based online sales extravaganzas, such as Amazon Prime Day and Black Friday, where consumers are increasingly on the hunt for bargains at specific times of the year, and Easter looks set to follow suit. This year, we expect the biggest Easter shopping weekend ever."
