Chloe Cox shortlisted for a Women in IT Excellence Award

Congratulations to Salmon, a Wunderman Commerce Company, Consultant Chloe Cox, who has been shortlisted for Graduate of the Year 2018 in the Women in IT Excellence Awards.

Chloe has been shortlisted alongside some of the industry’s biggest emerging female talent, up against graduates from the likes of HELLO! Magazine and Sparta Global.

After graduating with a First-Class BSc honours in Retail, Marketing and Management, Chloe completed a year’s graduate placement with premium automotive brand, Audi, where she project managed an online social media platform for Audi UK, called Destination:Audi. In August 2017, she joined Salmon’s Consultancy and Innovation Team as a Consultant, where she has worked with renowned brands like Tempur and Nike to build world-leading eCommerce sites.

Chloe said: Embarking on a consultant role as a graduate was a daunting experience, yet so far, has proved incredibly rewarding. From defining Salmon’s position in Social Commerce, to presenting trends in Female Commerce, to managing a six-figure P&L account for a premium client. Working within the Consultancy and Innovation team at Salmon has given me the opportunity to develop a plethora of skills, carve out my role, and establish a voice within eCommerce, championing and pushing forward the agenda of females in commerce – a topic that lies close to my heart.

Hugh Fletcher, Global Head of Consultancy and Innovation at Salmon, said: Entering into a consultancy role can be a challenge for anyone, but with incredible attention to detail, the building of positive client relationships, and the ability to drive the team around her forward, Chloe has hugely impacted both Salmon and her clients with skill, and an attitude that belies her years. Fusing together business, theoretical, and emotional intelligence, the sky really is the limit for Chloe, and her future, as well as that of the clients she works with, is undoubtedly going to be bright.

Now in its second year, the Women in IT Excellence Awards aims to shine a spotlight where it's most needed in tech: on the mould-breaking, ceiling-smashing female talent rising up the ranks and shaking up the industry.

Good luck to Chloe, who will be attending the award ceremony on the 27 November, taking place at Finsbury Square, London.
