Salmon Announces Partnership with Microsoft & New Head of Microsoft Technology Practice

Salmon, specialists in delivering IT solutions today announced they
have become a Microsoft Certified Partner, extending their eCommerce,
business process and integration capability.

Andrew Smith, will head up the Microsoft Practice, with responsibility for developing the practice and helping it become one of the premier ISV's delivering Microsoft solutions in the UK. Andrew will work closely with Salmon's sales team and customers to mitigate risk and guarantee projects are delivered on time and within budget, resulting in project success.
Salmon will initially concentrate on expanding the Microsoft practice and delivering solutions for customers using the following products:
* Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 - Microsoft's latest offering to provide a platform for enterprise content management, business process automation and business intelligence features that enable a business to supply access to information that is essential to organisational goals and processes.
* Microsoft BizTalk Server 2006 - Microsoft's Enterprise Level Integration platform that enables an organisation to communicate with their customers and suppliers, and to automate, manage and optimise their processes.
* Microsoft Commerce Server 2007 - Microsoft's long-standing enterprise level eCommerce platform which offers profiling, targeting, catalogue, order management and fulfilment which has been deployed to support many major brands across the world over the last 7 years.
