Salmon recognised as Rackspace EMEA Partner of the Year, 2008

Salmon Limited ("Salmon"), a highly innovative global systems integrator and specialist in delivering complex web based I.T. solutions, has today announced it has been named Rackspace EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) Partner of the Year, 2008.
Myles Dawson, Head of Channel Sales at Rackspace said; "By working tirelessly with the Rackspace team, meeting aggressive client deadlines and developing complex, bespoke infrastructures with our Solution Engineers, Salmon has proven to be our top performing Partner in 2008."
Salmon’s Chief Marketing Officer, Chris Hoskin said; "It is wonderful to be given this accolade. We have worked hard with Rackspace over the last 12 months to deliver better solutions, for our joint customers."
One such customer is Stylo plc, the UK’s second largest independent shoe retailer for whom Salmon implemented a new eCommerce platform to support the brands PriceLess, Barratts, Discount Shoe Store, Petitfeet, Big Shoe Boutique and Nineteen Twentyone. The entire eCommerce infrastructure is hosted by Rackspace.
Looking to the remainder of 2008 and into 2009, Hoskin said, "We will continue to work with Rackspace on joint sales, marketing and deployment engagements, in particular focussing effort toward helping organisations maximise their online potential. Salmon has been a Rackspace Premier Partner since the beginning of 2008 and has been actively involved with the Rackspace channel team since joining.
The two companies will work together in Retail, Insurance and Retail Finance throughout 2009.
