Salmon named Top Influencer by IBM

Salmon has won the award for 'top influencer' from IBM. This has
resulted from them bringing IBM over $1 million of software sales
during 2001. Gillian Nunn, Business Development Manager from IBM said,
'The input, and introduction from Salmon who promoted the IBM software
platform was what eventually lead to a $1 million B2B deal'.
The award demonstrates how successfully business partners can work together to create collaborative solutions for customers.
Salmon specialise in developing fully integrated e-commerce systems. The company has particular expertise with the IBM Application Integration and Middleware products, including VisualAge 'Java, Smalltalk and Pacbase' WebSphere, MQ family of products 'formerly MQ Series' and Notes'Domino.
Salmon has been involved in WebSphere development for over three years and is now positioned as one of the UK main centres of excellence for this product set. Salmon has excellent knowledge and experience of both the WebSphere Application Server family as well as WebSphere Commerce Suite 4.1 and 5.1. They are also the first IBM partner in the UK to deliver a solution based on WebSphere Commerce Suite MarketPlace Edition.
