Salmon Wins Contract to Redevelop e-Commerce Websites for Arcadia Group Limited

Salmon Ltd, the IT services and consulting firm, today announced that it has signed a contract with IBM Global Services to redevelop the Burton, Dorothy Perkins, Evans, Miss Selfridge, Topshop, Topman and Wallis websites for Arcadia Group Limited.

Chris Harvey, Managing Director of Salmon, commented: "We are delighted to be working with IBM Global Services for a client of the calibre of Arcadia Group Limited. Following on from our successful implementations at Halfords, Homebase and Argos this contract further consolidates our position as the UK's leading IT services organisation for companies reviewing their e-commerce IT infrastructure."

Under the terms of the contract, Salmon will be responsible for:

  • Detailed Functional and Technical design
  • Development of dhtml web pages and "back-end" processes
  • System testing
  • Defect resolution during execution of the acceptance tests
  • Performance tuning
  • Documentation
The new sites will go live in June 2006.
