Salmon buy back business from Novell

Salmon, specialists in delivering IT Solutions, today announced they have completed a management buyout from Novell, Inc (NASDAQ: NOVL).

The deal will allow Novell to focus further on their core business of providing infrastructure software, whilst giving Salmon the freedom to pursue strategic initiatives appropriate to improve and extend services to their customers. The move will also give Salmon the opportunity to grow their capability in the UK and other markets.

The company will continue to be led by Chris Harvey, managing director, Mike Pring, finance director and Jeff Leaver, chief operating officer.

Chris Harvey, UK managing director said, "The management buyout does not alter any existing contracts with our customers, or lines of communication. The business will carry on running as it has done. We will continue to invest in developing the business and to focus on delivering web-based business solutions that drive rapid business benefit and mitigate risk."
