Nexus catches Salmon for multi channel insurance solution

Salmon, specialists in delivering eInsurance solutions, today announced that Nexus Underwriting Management Ltd (Nexus) has chosen them to deliver an insurance underwriting solution.
After acquiring Novae’s Regional Financial Lines business, Nexus formed a new Managing General Agency (MGA) called Nexus Professional Risks Ltd (NPR) and approached Salmon to supply a new system to service and grow the business. Salmon will configure and implement RiskWrite™ to provide NPR with a full insurance underwriting solution, including policy administration and broker portal.
Colin Thompson, Nexus Group CEO said “We were looking for an affordable system that would not only be up and running quickly but had the necessary functions to drive operational efficiency. Salmon will implement the new system, including migrating data, in less than a two months. A fast implementation is critical to the success of our acquisition.”
He continued, “RiskWrite™ is a popular choice with our underwriters because they are confident in its ability to support our business needs. It will allow us to respond quickly to rate and market changes and to communicate with agents and brokers across all our channels. We are also considering using it within the rest of the Nexus business”.
