IMRG Connect events are day-long conferences that bring together large numbers of IMRG members to network and learn from expert presentations on a wide range of industry topics. The 7th Internet Retailing Conference boasted three conferences, three workshops and a packed exhibition hall bringing together industry leaders, thinkers, strategists and commentators.
Attendees explored the new responsibilities of leadership and how ecommerce is pushing forward changes in the industry and internal teams, celebrating operational successes, rising to new challenges and creating opportunities to turn the retail industry from the brink of recession.
'Mobile and Tablet: Extending the Customer Journey'
The omni-channel customer journey now goes far beyond the website experience, with new devices entering the market every day. IMRG organised this session to find out from the experts how to improve the performance of web sites across all customer touch-points. Amongst the speakers was Salmon's Director of Customer Experience, Andy Jones, who shared his insights into usability testing.
